Algorithmic Trading Softwares & Strategies!!

The ones that i have tried experimenting with are Amibroker, Aptistock, Quotetracker etc. These are specialised softwares used for technical analysis of stocks/securities listed on various stock exchanges, world over.

However, i find that coverage of NSE/BSE is very weak. There's a lot of effort required to keep the database updated and needs complex knowledge of "coding" for making the software customised!! The general settings are quite useful though and do allow for a detailed analysis of the stocks.

The other problem that i find is that the F&O markets are not very well covered.

I will be trying to partner with a software developer friend to see what i can do to make the software more user friendly and customised to Indian markets. Let's see what comes out of the exercise!!

I'll also try and post here explanations of common terms used in the analysis and explain what to make of it!!
