Some promises here and there but nothing substantial.... i believe that the Govt. lost a big opportunity to usher in big-ticket reforms.... i wouldn't like to get into specifics and waste anyone's time..... i myself feel this budget exercise is now meaningless!!
The reforms are being done in a non-transparent manner.... proof..... you will soon see a lot of notifications and clarifications from the various ministries and govt. organisations...... check out the one's for service tax!!
In any case, i made my money by going short on the NIFTY just a few days before the big day.... bought 4400 PE for about Rs. 95/- and sold them for about Rs. 303/-!!
